Photostory of the month

Many times, we have chosen to speak less by showing a picture and quoting, “A picture is worth a thousand words”. Indeed! But where does that leave a writer?

Hence, this series – Photostory of the month – a concept writing contest. Rules are simple. Every month, we’ll share a picture as a writing prompt. This is no ordinary picture. It is an idea in itself which you have to bring out as a writer.

Photostories need not be stories (prose) or a piece of fiction. Your story is your interpretation of the picture. And it depends on your perspective – The photographer did his job, but what did YOU see there? Which story (or poetry, or essay) will YOU mine from it? What emotion did it stir in YOU?

So, participate right away!

Winners will be featured here and will win free Amazon vouchers worth 1000 INR.

P.S. With a bootstrapped magazine, this is all we can afford right now. Support us with your stories.

When you photograph a face, you photograph the soul behind it. She hid her face, what’s her story?
